Wowza, last night ended a week of Mayhem with , a great vibe , relaxed, focused, empathetic, patience, love and laughter ..
A couple of tears as everyone sang me happy birthday and I was presented with a candle lit cake to share with my Team from Eileen, and a box of fantastic Cup cakes from Linda Thornton ❤️, all our guests were treated to something yummy to have after dinner , a wonderful high tea and some awesome sweets donated by Link Communication/Christophè Measor/staff/Anthony Mckeown.
Clothing was fantastic, plenty of coats and jumpers and all trainers were graciously recieved..the size 13 trainers were loved ..we still have 1 pair for another guy ..so yay .
The team were as lovely as ever , efficient, dedicated from setting up to setting home ..over 190 people attended and thank God for Charlie getting the Pizza from PIZZAPIZZA Kirkstall, making up the shortfall .
Homes in hardship, had a great variety of surplus from M&S and Asda, as well as having great fun on the raffle and being gifted household essentials from In Kind.
Emergency packs were given to all our homeless.
5 tents , 3 pods and 9 blankets were given , and we left feeling like a great mission had been well and truly accomplished..
Well done Team and to all that work tirelessly behind the scenes to help bring everything ❤️ together
