Throughout the whole of may , we have covered all outreaches, 3 times a week , and taking the full brunt on every Sunday of may , leaving us totally exhausted of any funds and very little energy to actually turn up , unexpectedly riding solo AGAIN .
This week, we gave smaller portions and actually managed to feed every single person including late comers with hidden snack packs ..lol.
This situation is now actually effecting our foodbank in the communities that we support , as we are having to use our foodbank stock for ingredients..this is the result mainly of the Chancellor of exchequer, abolishing the household Support Fund..which is actually the only funding we get for ingredients, tents , sleeping bags and extra emergency supplies ..HOWEVER we done it again ..
Everyone was super pleasant , waited patiently, and were more than grateful and fully understanding of the situation we are in .
So many new faces from all of England, released from prison or simply fleeing violence, from Middlesbrough to Devon..just in leeds with no means of anything, no local connections, so no access to shelters , or benefits, a sad situation indeed , and yet , there they were , all smiling , chilled and polite .
We noticed a few more elderly, coming for £1 food bank ..one man really struggling to walk , says , he has thoroughly enjoyed coming and actually shook my hand whilst thanking us ..so wrong that we are seeing pensioners struggling and having to attend hardship outreaches ..it was an honour to serve them, and to receive such beautiful feedback on the organisation and the quality of our food ..

Clothing was served by our Trixie , who does an awesome job with the donations we recieve from everyone that supports us .
Pizza Pizza again fulfilled their weekly donations, collected by charlie and Linda Thornton ❤️ turned up with her magical cup cakes ..
