Wednesday outreach and foodbank

oh what a night , started slow , and progressed to one heck of an outreach.
particularly endearing, was seeing a young man that I’ve known for some years now, who was on heroine, crack and some horrific prescription drugs , including methadone, HE LOOKED FANTASTIC, and has been clean for 14 months, although he had a bottle of drink in his hand , which he handed to me to pour away, and then got himself a nice dinner and a prize , as well as a big hug , such a beautiful young man , it was a lovely thing to see and I truly wish him the best life. once thin, dirty and in a tent outside trinity church, he was now well dressed and standing tall with some weight on him…Selah to that
the team was full on , and sadly had to endure a rather bad mannered and far from humble lady , but continued to smile and be polite , not a homeless lady , nor particularly struggling, she was rude, demanding and extremely greedy , taking more than advantage of the food bank and clothing provided for people actually in need ..for this I apologise to my team , it happens now and then , sadly the world has many selfish and greedy people, that will take from those with nothing ..she certainly won’t be welcome back ..
the rest of our guests were actually quite beautiful, loving and humble, and some even helped out ..particularly Micky who has been mucking in each week for a while now ..
the food provided was yummy , cooks were Adrian Hood, Jane Black and HHUK KITCHEN.
many ingredients provided through Fareshare/Morgan Teal Nandos /KFC and Asda..
Neighbourly supplied all surplus foods, Pret A Manger, Krispy Kremr and Lidl Gipton contributed massively to food bank as did Wetherby food bank /Trussell Trust.
