short video for such a long outreach..started really slow, which is a good thing I guess if that meant there were no homeless, but as we know that will never be the case , homelessness and Hunger is as old as life itself..it was pelting down as we approached town , and I had to have words with the big guy in the sky , and as we turned onto brigate..the rain stopped ✋️ 😀, and people came all throughout the evening..
The food prepared by Adrian Hood and Jane Black, was jerk chicken ,rice and peas , bangers and mash , a veggie option and wonderful crumble with custard, we also had coffee and vanilla cake with custard, KFC , Chocolate ready brek and 20 portions of sausage and chips from The Bearded Sailor Pudsey..
Pret A Manger and Greggs filled the tables along with a large selection of sweets in containers
11 pairs of new trainers went out along with 10 filled back packs , clothing and sleeping equipment too..
The event was very successful and plenty were fed as well as receiving a few bits from In Kind , like dove care kits, radom shower gel ect .
We then received another weekly donation from Nandos , which will be used for Sundays outreach.
The team was productive and on point ..and we all sang happy birthday to our very own soldier Darren Howson 💙 ❤️ with thoughts for our Frankie on her birthday the day before ..a brilliant team as usual 👏 😀
