The food was wonderful 😋 cooked in house at Hhuk, and all puddings were donated homebakes or donations from organisations and the community.
we had a good strong team out , so all stations were covered .
sadly we are out of sleeping bags/blankets /duvets ..we literally gave the last one out last night , however, thanks to all people that support us , we had loads of warm coats abd great layers , some wonderful footwear including some great trainers and 2 pairs of eggs boots for our ladies ..
we played a tribute song for our Linda’s husband , it was very moving , everyone was humming away or mumbling the words , such a beautiful lady , what a privilege to of shared that moment with us all …
flowers were laid for people lost in the past 5 days and some laid for a personal loss of my own ..although these were emotional moments, every single person was on the same page ..we all enjoyed the dedication and then the entire evening..
242 was the actual count , and not one person went without ..thanks to pizzapizza making up any short falls ..
families attended foodbank and left fully loaded , with a bit of everything, one family of 16 , living between 2 houses with 2 newly born bubbas , were absolutely delighted with the huge choice of food , especially the baby food ..
The raffle was a big hit and many prizes were won as well as free gifts from in kind given for each raffle purchased , so a double wammy ..
