Started slow , and then from literally nowhere, came droves of people , needing clean clothing, food, blankets, soft pillows yo rest their heads , footwear..and really sadly, medical attention.
One very young man had been bitten by bugs all over and the bites had all turned 😳 septic ..after a good clean on 6 different wounds , using just saline, and a clean dressing, he was advised to go to A&E immediately..following him came a few more , but we were out of dressings and saline ..thankfully we have some kit at the unit , but are in desperate need of Gauzes and saline , so please feel free to donate 🙏 here’s where I thank Katie Ward for some dressing packs , which will come out next week .
On a more positive note , the evening was peaceful and much appreciation was shown for the food and packs that they recieved.
Clothing, flew out and we are more desperate now than imagined, Nigel Perry ill be coming to see you please 🙏 ❤️
