Jeeeeeez what a night , one of our busiest yet ..families came from all over to celebrate our St Patrick’s night ..with a huge food bank and free gifts from In Kind , whilst our homeless, were given top quality hot dinners and home bakes , with a tray each of selected cakes and cream pastries of their choice …included was 150 hot puddings to choose from and 180 individual home bakes , greggs and Pret A Manger..180 packs of crisps and 80 sealed dellie cakes to take away ..160 meals went out plus 320 piece’s of KFC and 4×14 inch delicious pizzas from PIZZAPIZZA.
3 crates of canned drinks from Link Communications were snapped up as well as a couple of crates of other refreshments..20 litres of hot drinks and 5 litres of milkshake ..
there were a few troublesome young ones hanging around ready to make trouble , so we offered them a milkshake and some doughnuts , they went from vile and rude to Humble and thankful in a second and joined us for our St Patrick’s celebrations..jigging away to the music with the rest of us ..
our street friends recieved sleeping bags and tents and more Sleeping pods were handed out along with instructions and safety guidelines…
Essential packs and prizes were made up by Eileen Fahy, who relentlessly works even whilst dealing with her own recent problems abd family bereavement..The homeless have come to seek Eileen for their packs and her little .
.stash of extras hahaha…they come to me and I say ..ask Eileen 😆 🤣 😂.
God provided us with many things last night , A Driver ..yessss
the rain stopped , yesss.
The donations received were Amazing ..yess
and gifts from families who have list loved ones , have recycled into new homes and humbley excepted with much gratitude 🙏
