Last nights SoS feed , has a beautiful story , a team of people that have faced every hardship imaginable, have got together to give back . their stories were not beautiful, but they are now ..
we were given no or little warning that there was no feed out ..and everyone rallied around , got it all together ❤️ and got into leeds with what ever we could ..
Trixie and charlie picked up pret , Eileen picked up greggs and snacks, Zee picked up pizzapizza, I cooked kfc and a homebakes and grabbed some oranges ..we made up a total of 40 litres of hot and cold refreshments..and off we all went .
Yes it poured down , yet all the food stayed dry , thanks to our great trollies and waterproof bags..and on a positive note , we all have a home to to at the end and dry off ..
Last nights street homeless, were everywhere 😢 many were really upset because we didn’t have underwear and toiletries, so we had to explain that we simply came out as an emergency situation..
Thank God for pizzapizza , as we ran out of KFC really fast and many would of gone without..but didn’t..so thankyou 🙏 Pizzapizza/Kirkstall.
starting at 7.30 , we finished around 10.45 , and set of home , leaving people wet and lonely..but we’ll fed ..
all I can say is bless this team for their outstanding love , understanding and empathy ❤️ WELL DONE TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU THAT STEPPED UP AND STOOD IN ❤️
