with the sad news of the passing of one of our guests, tension and emotions were unpredictable 😢..
The team , really held it together ❤️, comforting, and lending an ear to those that needed it , whilst serving , smiling and keeping each moment calm .
The clothing, bedding, blankets, footwear and other warm items , were so very much appreciated..we gave out more than 15 duvets, 5 sleeping bags, and around 20 blankets , all donated from communities in west Yorkshire., FANTASTIC.
Homebakes by Sheena Mckinnon, flew out , and the rest was all made by Hhuk topped of with a warm spicy home made tomato soup from Julie Teirnan and 4 huge pizzas from PIZZAPIZZA.
refreshments and food in a bottle from Link Communication, Christophè Measor/staff/Anthony Mckeown..was plentiful..
with all fed , and given warm clothing, abd even new footwear, all the homeless were provided with an emergency pack and 5 more sleep pods were given out ..
foodbank gone , being our last public foodbank due to lack of storage , we allowed those in hardship to fill their bags and trollies , thry were delighted.
we finished of with a great raffle abd gifted families and people in need with some great items from the In Kind table ..included was Andrex , lynx, comfort, Dove, great shampoos, Flash , and toys like Lego for the children..
An around beautiful evening with some lovely words spoken in memory of another life lost ❤️
