JEEEEEEEEZZZZZ now that was completely nuts 😳.
they just kept coming, I stopped counting at 249 heads ..
However it was , apart from one regular whinger, FANTASTIC, everyone waited patiently whilst the team set up ..street homeless queues one side , Foodbank the other , clothing was kind of hidden due to rain , but was extremely appreciated as people were wet through..
exactly 260 meals were gone in under 45 minutes as well as 280 puddings , 50 kilos of Pret A Manger, 20 kilos of Greggs , around 50 kilos of snacks , 260 kilos of surplus and food on the move , 280 kilos of food bank , 15 kilos of dog food , abd sanitary wear ..were all gone ..sone foodbank cane back which will go out next week .
as for refreshments, wow , 300 individual itens went and 15 litres of hot stuff . .
all gone just as PIZZAPIZZA turned up ..yessssss ..again saved the day , as the never ending queue just kept growing 😆, at one point , I fealt like I was in a pond of geese , and actually couldn’t hear anything other than loud gaggle..
This glorious team , were ON IT , all over it with precision and still smiling..bless them , thank God the rain calmed right down .
over 8 homeless prison releases last night , all at a loose end with nothing, waiting for an appointment first thing monday ..and sadly , more ladies out there that seemed to be very young .
Again sadly , the massive majority were actually street homeless or in night shelters , still hungry , still without adequate clothing, the mind boggles at every outreach..
Thanks to the genuine generosity of the people that donated to us , we are always able to support the people that come to us .
