well what a lovely, soaking wet event , hahaha 😆 and to top it off , all barriers were broken, it took us ages to get into town snd set up ..but hey, we can’t control the weather, nor the council , so we continued .
Slowly the rain kind of stopped and people just turned up from no where , I couldn’t believe it , I actually was deluded enough to think it would be a , wham, bam , thankyou mam, kinda night, but not a chance .
everyone was happy and even had a little dance ..food was hot and freshly made by Hhuk Kitchen and Patricia Sutcliffe, topped up with wonderful pizzapizza/Kirkstall.
3 new volunteers joined and are coming again so yay .
Eileen handed out loads of essentials, whilst Linda made some rather pish high teas , with M&S cream cakes and home bakes, which they really loved 😍
Bless trixie , who managed the clothing and kept it all dry ..fabulous..and the rest of the team were busy serving, smiling and just being great .
