A murgatroyd event last night.
231 guests at the table who came from everywhere.
From Sheffield, Nottingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, Castleford and even my home town, London ..as well as guests from all around West Yorkshire, Bramley, Armley , Beeston, Belle Isle and many other areas, so many had to walk because of bus restrictions..so happy to be there with 30 pairs of brand new trainers from a portion of our latest HHSF/Forum central of which we are proud partners.
The amount of food was phenomenal, many thanks to Patricia Sutcliffe, Irys Shute, Sheena Mckinnon, Linda Thornton, Hhuk Kitchen and of course PIZZAPIZZA/Kirkstall.
Our guests were wonderful, and chilled to the carnival vibes as we set up to present them with a feast of culinary delights , essential packs, clothing, clean underwear, sleeping bags, tents , household and sanitary wear and a much appreciated foodbank with surplus for all , including Pret A Manger and Greggs , 30 kilos of pumped refreshments and 180 cans and bottles.
One hell of a team , who worked with precious, compassion and a heartwarming attitude ..
Many many thanks to all that donated clothing and other household items for families struggling with the rising cost of living ..every family was gifted something essential from the In Kind Table and sanitary wear from Ella at Morrisons.
