Jane and Adrian cooked some fantastic meals and puddings , with authentic ingredients and hand ground herbs and spices ..accompanied by hone grown rhubarb crumble , cakes and wonderful chocolate brownies..
Hhuk provided a few more puddings, KFC and refreshments, whilst our in house bakers , whisked up amazing home bakes , Sheena Mckinnon, Irys from Calverley and Linda Thornton..
Local Award winning chippy The Bearded Sailor, continue to support us with 20 hot meals and every guest was fed abd watered with love and kindness.
clothing was donated from all over , and Darren Howson, with Daughter and boyfriend, carried a load over from Pontefract..
we ended the evening having to see to a guy who had a very serious infection in some stitches ..bless him , he wouldn’t go to A&E coz of his dog ..so we got him cleaned up and removed some horrendous inbedded stitches, which relieved a lot of pain , we left him with a small medical pack and saline water and obviosly told him to get to A&E ASAP ..all was lovely and clean and he was finally out of pain and sat to enjoy a jerk chicken and rice .he literally went from crying and stressed to smiling and blessed ..
